Artifact Guide — Where to Spend Your Time
Which sets to farm, when to stop upgrading, and how to read substats.
Artifacts are the longest part of the game. These rules save you months.
Rule one: main stat before set
A piece with the right main stat from a random set beats a perfect-set piece with the wrong main stat.
- Sands: ATK% or Energy Recharge›
- Goblet: Elemental DMG›
- Circlet: CRIT Rate or DMG
Rule two: useful substats
Before upgrading, a piece should already show at least three of these:
- CRIT Rate›
- CRIT DMG›
- ATK%›
- Energy Recharge
Never take a piece past +4 unless a useful substat appeared. The common rule: stop at +4 and re-evaluate.

Noblesse Oblige×4
Viridescent Venerer×4
Transformative-reaction units like 
كوكي شينوبو only need Elemental Mastery, which is far easier to farm than crit stats.
